Good news everyone, now we can browse and watch vine videos on our PC , without even creating an account..! Yes you heard it right, Vine.co now allows everyone of us to browse and watch it’s videos (actually the users videos) in a YouTube like way and Of course, no private videos will be shown in the Vine’s new Webpage (because they are private videos and users can’t be re-vine them).
Vine also added a search tool to make it easy for the users to find relevant and desired videos. This feature is also absent in the previous site design. And also the new website will include content sections like Playlists, Popular now, Features videos etc..; so users could find more interesting videos.
Until today we aren’t able to access or watch vine videos on our PC., the only way to watch vine videos is through the mobile app. After creating a new account through twitter or email, users can either watch the vine videos or create new videos on the fly.
Vine enables users to record short video clips up to six seconds long or less while recording through its in-app camera. The camera records only while the screen is being touched, enabling users to edit on the fly or create stop motion effects. Being founded by Dom Hofmann, Rus Yusupov, and Colin Kroll in June 2012, the company was acquired by Twitter in October 2012 for a reported $30 million. And that’s really a good move by Twitter. Vine debuted as a free iOS app on the app store in January 24, 2013 and in June 2, 2013, Vine also launched its Android app on Google Play Store.
Since its acquisition by Twitter, a lot of changes were happened to Vine. In just a few months, Vine became the most used video-sharing application on internet. It became so popular that on April 9, 2013, it became the most downloaded free app within the iOS App Store.
I hope you will find the Vine’s new decision pleasing and now its your turn to share your views about this new update in the comments section below. And also, don’t forget to share this news with your friends..! 🙂
