After HTC One and HTC One Mini, HTC officially announced the new “HTC One Max” which includes the feature “Fingerprint Scanner Unlock”. Seems like this new HTC Phablet (phone + tablet) would give Apple iPhone 5S a tough competition.

Fingerprint Scanner and Other new Features

HTC One Max new Fingerprint Scanner

This feature is actually introduced in Apple’s new iPhone 5S and 5C at first. And now HTC seems to take a step forward by including this feature in HTC Max Phablet.  But in case of HTC One Max , Fingerprint Scanner is located at the back of the device , below the camera and users can save several different fingerprints from multiple people. Each of this saved fingerprint can be alloted for specific function such as Open Gmail, Play Music etc..,

HTC One Max comes with the latest version of HTC Sense(v 5.5), includes a lot more hand gestures than the previous ones which helps for easier one hand operation of the Phablet.

The IR blaster at the top of the device can be used with a remote control app and no longer serves dual functions as Power off button.

Size and Body

Compared with HTC One Mini (4.3 inch display) and HTC One (4.7 inch display) , HTC Max holds a massive 5.9 inches display.  Same as the previous gadgets , the back of HTC One Max is made of Alluminium. The previous HTC One and HTC One mini doesn’t have a removable back. But in case of HTC One Max this is different. It has a removable back which holds a sim card and microSD card slot.

Every feature of this Phablet (some say it’s still a phone) is excellent and upto the mark. But Android 4.4 Kit-kat is on it’s way and HTC One Max should have a waited a little bit for that. It also loses out optical image stabilization feature from the One Category devices. However as mentioned earlier HTC One Max gives a tough competition to Apple iPhone 5S.

What do you say. Do you like this New one from HTC ? Let us know in the comments. Thank you 🙂
