Most of us knew a lot about keyboard shortcuts, especially windows keyboard shortcuts. But only a few knows about browser shortcuts that comes in handy many times and saves our time. So today we will discuss about 5 simple browser tips and tricks that helps us to increase productivity.

Restore a closed browser

You can easily restore your closed browser or browser tab with this simple shortcut ==> CTRL+SHIFT+T opens the last tab you closed.

Shortcut to any .com Website

You can easily access any website directly without typing  any of the www. or .com. Press CTRL+ENTER after entering any name in the address bar and then it will change into www.name_you_typed.com. For example type techcrunch in the above address bar and press CTRL+ENTER and see the magic.

Highlighting a URL

There may be times when you want to highlight the URL in the browser’s address bar to copy it or paste other text.CTRL+L helps you to highlight a URL without using a mouse in an instant with ease.

Shortcut to open an Incognito Window

Incognito mode or Private mode in browsers can protect your privacy upto some extent. Nothing will be saved in history and no cookies will be stored either. So the shortcut to open an incognito window will be CTRL+SHIFT+N . I’m sure most of you know this already. Just thought of sharing this anyway.

Shortcut to Clear Your Cache

Clearing cache deletes most of the unwanted temporary files, cookies etc. from our hard disk. The main problem is, that most internet users don’t know how to clear cache from their browsers. If you are also one of them don’t worry, all you need to do is press the shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+R and then refresh the page. That’s it cache cleared.
